Hello Lovelies,
Hope you are doing great!
I have always wanted to hoard all the Deborah lipsticks available because I find them so classy. Every variant they come up with, there are so many awesome shades to choose from and I am baffled and confused as to which one to pick up and I feel like picking them all up :D We girls!!! So today I am reviewing one such wonderful matte lippie from Deborah from their Rosetto Atomic Red Lipstick collection. The shade is Mat 01 which is a coral shade tending more towards red. So without further ado, let's check out how it worked for me!
Read on to find out more.
Product Description:
Satiny mat lipstick. Ultra-comfortable glide-on formula for velvety smooth lips that stay perfect all day long. Hypoallergenic.*
*Formulated to minimise the risk of allergies.
Price: 625 INR
Shelf Life: 3 years.
Packaging:
I absolutely adore the matte black packaging. I loved the fact that they have given a matte packaging for a matte lipstick. The tube looks elegant and the shade in imprinted on lower as well as upper edges of the lipstick which makes it easier to spot if you store your lipsticks vertically like I do :)
My Experience with Deborah Rosetto Atomic Red Lipstick in Mat 01:
The first thought that comes to mind while picking up this lipstick is the price! I admit that it is slightly expensive but I feel it is value for money because of the shade, the texture and the amount of lipstick you get. This is a must have lipstick for matte lovers like me. So let's check out in detail how this worked for me:
Shade: The shade Mat 01 is a deep coral color which might come off as red on skin tones with yellow undertones. It appears more as a ruby red on me but might come off as pinky coral on few. It will mostly flatter fair to medium skin toned beauties but dusky beauties can pull this off too. I would suggest to check how it looks on you beforehand if you plan to buy it. A little tricky shade but I love how it brightens up my face. It is a dark shade but a sophisticated red I may say.
Texture and finish: The texture of the lipstick is buttery/creamy on application but sets to a beautiful matte finish within few seconds. The matte finish is not the regular dry matte powdery finish we get from matte lipsticks. It is a creamy matte texture which does not dry out the lips and hence suited for a majority of the beautiful lasses. :D I have to moisturize my lips well before application to avoid any dry patches and for even application. It glides on smoothly and has a creamy but not crumbly texture which helps in easy application.
Pigmentation: Alert! This lipstick is HIGHLY pigmented. If you go overboard with the application, it might end up looking too tacky. So apply this with a lighter hand. A single swipe is enough to cover pigmented lips but you might have to go for a second coat just on the inner lips and the corners to get even looking and neat application.
Staying power: Now here is the biggest pro of this lipstick for which i feel it is worth the price. It stays on for almost 6-7 hours on me with noticeable fading from the inner corner of the lips which has to be touched up after meals. If a lippie stays that long on me then it has a great staying power! Trust me because I tend to eat up my lipstick (sorry but I couldn't find better words to describe this irritating habit of mine).

Cons:
Would I recommend this product?
Yes! For all you matte lovers out there, go grab it! It is a beautiful matte lipstick I am in love with.
Would I repurchase this product?
Yes but will try the other shades. I love the quality of the lipstick. It is top notch!
My Rating: 5/5 (I would have deducted points for the uneven fading but that depends on how skillfully you apply the lipstick so I am giving the benefit of doubt to the lipstick)
I think the rating speaks for itself and need I say more? Go ahead ladies, grad this amazing matte wonder!

Pros:
- Stays on for 6-7 hours with fading from inner corners of the lips which has to be touched up.
- Texture is buttery soft and glides easily on the lips.
- Highly pigmented so one swipe is enough to cover the entire pigmentation on the lips.
- The shade is a gorgeous deep coral tending more towards red.
- Perfect matte finish which does not dry up the lips. Keeps the lips hydrated.
Cons:
- Some might find it expensive but given that it is Deborah and the quality is awesome, it is not a con for me personally.
- Might fade unevenly on some if not applied properly and since it is a dark shade, it doesn't look good after fading.
