Hello Lovely Ladies,
Hope you all are doing great!
I have started working from home and hence
overloaded with work after my absence from work. L I missed being around. I tried my best to comment on everyone’s
blogs but if at all I missed any post, please pardon me. I am super duper
worked up! Well coming to today’s review, I am reviewing a shampoo which has
really helped me smoothen out my hair which became quite unmanageable since we
shifted to a new place and the water here doesn’t suit me much. Sunsilk
Co-creations perfect straight shampoo works great if you want soft smooth silky
hair! Obviously we all want such hair, silly me ;) So let’s check out why I love
this shampoo.

Description (from official website):
There is a magic moment between wet &
dry hair when your hair looks perfectly straight and beautifully aligned. But
as it dries, it starts to puff up and lose shape. Sunsilk expert Yuko Yamashita
has co-created Sunsilk Perfect Straight, the ideal shampoo for straight hair
every day. Its breakthrough Straight-Lock technology to actively control and
hold every strand perfectly aligned as it dries. It penetrates deep within the
hair fibre, reducing frizz and straightening strands, keeping them fully
aligned as they dry*. Experience unbeatably straight hair that is shiny, smooth
and gorgeous, right from the shower.

My
Experience with Sunsilk Co-creations Perfect Straight Shampoo:
I have been using this shampoo for the last
2 months almost every day. I was very worried with how unmanageable and frizzy
my hair had become since the time I shifted to a new place because the water
here doesn’t suit me. I have a super oily scalp and hence have to wash my hair
every day. If I don’t wash my hair, it turns into an oil factory. I got this
shampoo because it claimed to make hair straight while making it soft and
manageable. It really does make my hair super soft and tangle free. Since the
hair smoothens after wash, it gives visual appearance of being straight but
honestly it does not actually make hair straight. Even if it doesn’t straighten
the hair, I love it for the fact that it smoothens out my hair and I love to
touch them. They look and feel so silky and soft that I really can’t stop
touching and caressing my hair. I totally love the fragrance of this shampoo.
It is has a fruity and sweet fragrance which lingers on for a while. With use
of conditioner, this shampoo gives amazing results. It helps mending damaged
hair and has reduced my split ends to a great extent.
Pros:
- Makes hair super smooth and silky.
- Tames my frizz to a great extent.
- Makes hair manageable and soft.
- When used with a conditioner, it makes them look visibly straighter.
- Although it doesn’t make hair super straight as claimed, I love it for the amazing results it gives in terms of softness and smoothness.
- Inexpensive.
Cons:
- It doesn’t make hair as straight as you would expect from a straightening shampoo but nonetheless I love it for the results it gives.
- Contains SLS.
Would
I recommend this product?
Yes! It makes hair silky, soft and
manageable. But if you are looking for a shampoo that will straighten your
hair, then I am sorry this is not for you. I personally feel no shampoo can do
that.
Would
I repurchase this product?
Yes! I am already on my second bottle and
will continue using till I find a better shampoo which gives me equivalent
results.
My
Rating: 4.5/5 (-0.5 for the chemicals)
All in all if you are looking for a good
everyday shampoo that makes your hair soft and manageable then go for it!
