Hello Pretty Ladies,
Hope you all are doing great!
I am not a person who wears eye shadows everyday so i prefer colored eye liners which serve the purpose of infusing some color over my eye lids apart from being an eye liner. I have brown eyes and I believe purples look great with brown eyes so I picked up Colorbar's I-Glide Eye Pencil in Amethyst Spark. I was happy that I did :) I love colored eye liners with not so obvious glitter, just a hint of shimmer to spark up the eyes and this liner is perfect for my liking.
Read on to find out how this eye pencil worked out for me!
Product Description:
Price: 325 INR when i bought it but Colorbar has hiked its price to 450 (Ouch!!)
Shelf Life: 3 years.
Packaging:
This pencil comes as a regular eye pencil which has to be sharpened once it becomes blunt. Comes packed in a box which has one of the edges colored in the shade of the pencil which makes it easier to find among other products.
My Experience with Colorbar I-Glide Eye Pencil in Amethyst Spark:
I love how pigmented this eye pencil is. It is creamy and smooth hence glides on easily over the lash line. There is no need of tugging or pulling which helps in achieving a smooth line. It glides on like a dream. The eye pencil is infused with micro shimmer which perks up the eyes without looking OTT. It can be blended after application to create a subtle or smoked out look. Once it sets, it does not budge, does not transfer or does not smudge. The shimmer particles might stick on to your skin if you accidentally touch your eye lids but the color remains. It is waterproof and stays on for 6-7 hours (i have oily eye lids) with light fading. Since it is waterproof, it has to be removed with an oil based makeup remover. Some shimmer stays on the lids even after removal but it can be easily washed off with water. The shade Amethyst Spark is a gorgeous purple tending more towards being lavender which would suit any eye color. I love this color! The pencil makes full justice to the claims mentioned in the product description. All in all a great eye pencil if you are looking out for a long wear, waterproof colored eye pencil with a hint of shimmer.
Pros:
Definitely! You should definitely check it out for the amazing formula.
Would I repurchase this product?
I might but only for this shade and only if i don't get a similar shade in other brands. I love the color! <3
My Rating: 4/5 :-*:-*:-*:-* (-1 for recent price hike :( )

- The shade Amethyst Spark is gorgeous.
- Infused with micro shimmer which does not look OTT but perks up the eyes instead.
- Smudge proof.
- Long wear eye pencil. Stays on for 6-7 hours with light fading.
- Glides like a dream. Does not tug hence helps in smooth application.

- Price might be a con but i believe this product is totally worth for the price i bought it for. With recent price hike, this point goes in my cons list.
- Little bit of shimmer remains even after you remove this with an oil based remover.
- Sharpening leads to product wastage.
