My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Flawless Matte Complexion Compact:

I have been using this compact for over a month now. As you can see in the pics, I have hit pan because I am using it every single day over my base makeup and loving it so far. I have excessive oily skin especially a super oily t zone. I was in search of a perfect mattifying compact which would keep oil at bay for considerable amount of time and I think this compact fares well in that. The texture is smooth and satiny due to which it glides on and blends really well into the skin. The shade I am using is Melon which is a perfect match for my skin tone as it has slight yellow undertones. All the 3 shades are best suited for Indian skin tones but a wider shade selection would have definitely benefited a lot of girls. The compact does not dry out the skin and helps maintaining a matte effect without looking patchy. It does not give any white cast as it blends well. The coverage is medium but will not cover blemishes and pigmentation if used alone without any foundation. I think this powder is best suited for those who want a matte finish powder which helps control oil. It is very light weight and does not look or feel cakey at all. It has a very mild pleasant smell which is not very noticeable. This compact stays on for almost 4-5 hours after which I need to touch up. My T zone is super oily as I said and hence it lasts on my T zone for lesser amount of time (around 3-4 hours) until I have to touch up. All in all I am pretty impressed with the quality of this product for the price. With the summers in full swing, this is my best buddy!

Would I recommend this product?

I would definitely recommend if you have oily/combination skin. This compact controls oil really well. Not an absolute must have but no harm in trying :)

Would I repurchase this product?

Yes! Until I find a better budget friendly matte finish compact.

My Rating: 4/5

Go for it if you have oily skin! I am loving it as my skin behaves weird with respect to compact powders. Some of them make my skin dry and some don't control the oil at all. So as of now I am happy with the job this compact is doing for me.
