Review: Nyassa Handmade Light Body Lotion in Mogra - a body lotion which will tingle your senses!

Recently I came across this brand of handmade bath and body products: Nyassa. This is an amazing brand and the products are 100% Vegetarian and handmade. They have a wide array of lotions, hair care products, soaps, bath fizzies, shower gels, etc. Nyassa has its origin in a Sanskrit word that means healing through touch to achieve a divine body. Their light body lotions are one of their best selling products. The fragrances are divine which awaken your senses. Today I will be reviewing one of my favorite Nyassa products: Nyassa Handmade Light Body Lotion in Mogra.

Product description:

A moisturizing lotion, mild and light, that makes the skin soft and smooth. Nourished with sweet almond oil, our light body lotions moisturize and rejuvenate the skin.

Price: 300 INR for 120g

Shelf life: 18 months.

Packaging:

It comes in bottle through which you can pump out the desired amount of lotion.

Naturally Pampering Ingredients:

Sweet Almond Oil, E-Wax, Glycerine, Vitamin-E Acetate, Distilled Water, Essential Oil/Fragrance, Colour, & Preservative

Beauty Regimen (back of the bottle):

Take a small amount of the light body lotion and rub over the skin after shower. Use as often as desired and watch your skin take a new glow.

My experience with Nyassa Handmade Light Body Lotion in Mogra:

This body lotion is indeed very light on the body and doesn’t pile up. It does not leave behind a greasy finish. The mogra fragrance is so refreshing and it lingers on for a considerable amount of time. The almond oil nourishes the skin and makes it soft and supple. The pump bottle makes it easy to take a small dollop of lotion and apply it on your skin. The fragrance is divine and very mild. The fragrance being mild is very soothing for the senses unlike harsh or strong fragrances which tend to make me feel uncomfortable. This product is designed for normal to dry skin. I have oily skin on my face but my hands and legs have dry skin and it needs constant hydration. Hence this product suits me best for application on arms and legs. Nyassa products are handmade and natural and hence do not cause any irritation to the skin. This light body lotion works best for sensitive skin as well since it is handmade and 100% vegetarian. J All in all, this is a good product especially if you have dry skin. I simply love it for the fragrance more than anything else.

Pros:

• Very light on the body and does not form a heavy creamy layer after application.
• Mogra fragrance is soothing and refreshing.
• The fragrance is mild and lingers on for considerable amount of time.
• 100% vegetarian
• Usage of natural ingredients and the product is handmade.
• Nyassa products are against animal testing J

Cons:

• It might give a slight sticky feeling if applied in a greater quantity.
• Might not be suitable for oily skinned beauties.

Other than this I couldn’t think of any other con as it is an awesome handmade product!

Would I recommend this product?

Yes especially for those who have dry skin which needs constant hydration.

Would i repurchase this product?

I will definitely repurchase Nyassa Handmade Light Body Lotion but might try different fragrance next time.
