Review: Inglot Freedom Style Lipstick Refill # 51

Hello Cuties,

Hope you all are doing excellent!

Thank you so much for liking my DIYs :) I will try to keep sharing such stuff with you all. Love you all :) Today I am back to a lip product review and this time it is from my favorite brand - Inglot! I love this brand for their quality and availability of a vast array of shade selection. I was quite apprehensive initially to try out the freedom system refills because I thought it will be a hassle to store these refills and also applying with a brush will not be convenient but I am glad I did not stop these assumptions from trying out these awesome lip colors :)

Read on to find out more.

Product Description (from website):
Freedom lipsticks are perfect for custom blending colors, bring artistry back to makeup.

Price: 300 INR (I bought it online from majorbrands. You can check it out here)

Packaging: These refills are available in round as well as square variants. The shade I am reviewing is a round lipstick refill which comes in a pan and has to be applied with a lip brush. They come packaged in a plastic case which has a smart lock mechanism to keep it locked in.

My Experience with  Inglot Freedom Style Lipstick Refill # 51:

Shade: The best thing about shade 51 is that it will flatter almost all Indian skin tones. It is a pretty pink with a hint of mauve but looks more rosy on the lips. I love the shade. It is perfect for a subtle look which can instantly brighten up the face. In the pan it looks more bold but comes out quite subtle on the lips.

Texture and formula: The texture is buttery soft and it glides easily on the lips. A single coat is enough to cover moderately pigmented lips. The formula is creamy and sets perfectly coated on the lips.

Pigmentation: These are very well pigmented. A little product is enough to coat the entire lips which ensures that the product will go on for a long time.

Staying power: On me it stayed on for 4 hours with light meal and a coffee. However, it starts fading after 3 hours and stays back as a soft pink tint on the lips. I think these will last longer on girls who don't tend to fiddle with their lips unlike me.

Smell: I know many people prefer fragrance free lip products but this one has a slight floral fragrance which is not very annoying. Infact I love it and it doesn't linger around for long.

It may tend to settle in fine lines and bleed if your lips are not properly hydrated so I have to make sure to use a lip balm before application of this lip color.

Now let the pictures do the talking. :)

Pros:

  • Pretty pink shade with hint of mauve. This will suit almost all Indian skin tones.
  • Texture is buttery soft and will glide easily on the lips.
  • Pigmentation is really good which ensures that a small amount of product is needed to cover up the lips. It will cover moderately pigmented lips in single application.
  • Stays on for 4+ hours.
  • Available in various gorgeous shades.

Cons:

  • You need a lip brush to apply this lip color. (this is not a con for me considering the amazing quality and the shade)

Would I recommend this product?
Definitely! These refills are amazing if you love to try out different shades of lippies. The shade 51 is super awesome :)

Would I repurchase this product?
Yes but will try a different shade.

My Rating: 4.5/5 :-*:-*:-*:-*:-* (-0.5 as no ingredients list is mentioned)

So go ahead lovelies try out these super cute and amazing lipstick refills from Inglot if you haven't tried them yet. They are inexpensive and there are a large number of shades to choose from!
