Review: Loreal Go 360 Clean Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser -- fights acne effectively!

Hi Girls,

Hope you all pretty ladies are doing fine!

I am so happy that the week is over and finally weekend is here. I am going to Mumbai tomorrow for work and planning to hoard stuff from Kryolan (why does Kryolan not have a store in Pune? :( ) I hope I get time for some shopping tomorrow :) Anyhow winter is one of those seasons where my skin starts behaving weird. I have combination skin with excessive oily T zone. In winters, my cheeks and skin around my mouth become excessively dry and i tend to breakout around the chin. Acne has never been a major concern for me but I do go through rough patches where my breakouts go bizarre and out of control. Today I am reviewing an amazing anti-acne product which actually helps control breakouts and cleanses away impurities. Loreal Go 360 Clean Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser is a salicyclic acid acne treatment. Salicyclic acid is a common a common over-the-counter acne treatment. It is known to fight acne without over-drying the skin.

Read on to find out how it worked for me.

My Experience with Loreal Go 360 Clean Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser:

I have been using this cleanser since 4 months now and I have seen visible differences in my breakouts. This cleanser has helped in preventing further breakouts and to contain the existing ones. Salicylic Acid is a well known acne treatment and it also does not over-dry the skin which most of the anti-acne products do. So you will not get a stretchy feeling once you cleanse your face with this cleanser. It removes dirt and makeup effectively giving you a squeaky clean feeling. This might tend to further dry out skin of dry skinned beauties to an extent a moisturizer can easily fix. It gives a nice cooling sensation after use and I feel fresh and clean!

The scrublet is the most amazing thing about this product. It has soft bristles which are very gentle on the face. While being soft, it does its job very well. It deep cleanses the clogged pores and hence I have noticed a visible shrinkage in the size of my pores. It works effectively in removing dirt settled on the skin and will not cause any bruise or scratches because it is way too soft and gentle.

I require a pea size amount for a single wash and it lathers extremely well. A very small amount is required for a thorough cleanup. A single bottle will last upto 5-6 months (used twice daily) so I believe the price is justified.

If you are undergoing any acne medication or applying any topical ointment for acne, consult your dermatologist before using this product because the product has a warning specified that this product can cause skin irritation and dryness if you use another topical acne medication at the same time.

Pros:

  • Controls existing acne and prevents future breakouts to an extent.
  • Does not over-dry the skin.
  • A small amount is required for one time use and hence a single bottle will go upto 5-6 months if used twice daily.
  • The scrublet does an excellent job of deep cleansing the clogged pores.
  • Removes dirt, impurities and makeup effectively.
  • Gives a soothing cooling sensation after use. Soothes acne outbreaks.

Cons:

  • Can be over drying for dry skinned beauties.
  • Contains SLS.

Would I recommend this product?

Yes! Absolutely! If you want a cleanser which helps you with your acne and also deep cleanses pores, this is the cleanser for you.

Would I repurchase this product?

Yes!! I might take 2 more months to finish up the existing one. I love it! :)

My Rating: 4/5 :-*:-*:-*:-* (-1 for SLS content)

All in all it is a great product for those who suffer from acne. I am sure you all will like it and the squeaky clean feeling it gives after use :)

  4. Nice review but I'll give it a pass. You're right it can be very drying for acne on sensitive skin. Salicylic acid (even in Neutrogena/Clean and clear/ you name it products) worked for me in my teens and no longer effective. I've developed a whole new routine using AHAs which works as for now. Cetaphil cream cleanser and tea tree range suits me best. Glad its working for you because nothing better than your self developed acne/skincare routine!

  5. Is it ok to use that scrublet daily? Wouldn't that be over exfoliating?
